Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sourcing and Purchasing:

  2. Source and procure goods and services based on company needs, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality standards.

  3. Create and manage purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate procurement records.

  4. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.

  5. Vendor Management:

  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.

  7. Identify and evaluate new potential suppliers to expand procurement options.

  8. Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or service.

  9. Negotiation and Contracting:

  10. Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.

  11. Assist in the development and management of supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.

  12. Track contract expirations and ensure timely renewals or renegotiations.

  13. Cost Management and Reporting:

  14. Monitor procurement budgets and track expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.

  15. Provide regular reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis, supplier performance, and inventory status.

  16. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  17. Compliance and Documentation:

  18. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.

  19. Maintain accurate documentation for all purchases, supplier agreements, and related transactions.

  20. Collaborate with finance and other departments to ensure proper financial tracking and reporting of purchases.

  21. Collaboration and Support:

  22. Work closely with the operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth procurement operations.

  23. Assist in resolving any issues related to product availability, quality, or delivery delays.
  24. Support the procurement manager with administrative tasks and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems( SAP )
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies, regulations, and best practices.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPP) is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • The role may require occasional travel for vendor visits and meetings.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
