Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jammu for a Safety Specialist. The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting safety training, performing accident investigations, and maintaining and promoting occupational health standards. Day-to-day tasks involve identifying potential hazards, developing safety protocols, and working closely with team members to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Health & Safety management
  • Proficiency in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health standards
  • Competence in Safety Training programs
  • Skills in Accident Investigation procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related field is preferred
  • Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are a plus
