PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

We are looking for an accomplished and strategic Senior Manager (Finance & Accounts) to lead and oversee our financial operations, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and long-term sustainability. This role is critical to driving financial strategy, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and audits, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in corporate finance, financial modeling, accounting principles, and financial planning & reporting, and will play a key role in supporting CFO with data-driven insights for strategic decision- making.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the entire group (Aus, India, and Philippines)

2. Financial Management:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions for the entire Group.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements for the entire group.
  • Preparation of monthly segmental results.
  • Preparation of monthly consolidated financial statements.
  • Implementation of best accounting and reporting practices.

3. Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports to executive leadership.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.

4. Team Leadership and Development:

  • Manage and lead the Finance & Accounts team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Clear segregation of team duties and responsibilities.

5. Internal Controls and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements for the entire group.

6. Strategic Financial Decision-Making:

  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Provide financial guidance and support for strategic decision-making.

7. Treasury and Cash Management:

  • Manage treasury functions, optimizing cash flow and liquidity.
  • Implement effective cash management practices.
  • Preparation of cash-flow projections.

8. Risk Management:

  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive risk management strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

9. Financial Modelling and Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct regular financial forecasting and scenario analysis.

10. Audit Coordination:

  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure a smooth audit process and timely resolution of audit queries.

11. Board Reporting:

  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for presentation to the Board.
  • Assist in the preparation of board meeting materials.

12. Cost Management:

  • Implement cost control measures and monitor budget vs actuals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies

. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must have at least 10 years experience in Finance & Accounts with at least 5 years in managing financial modeling, reporting and forecasting.
  • Proven track record in Financial Accounting, Financial Modelling, Forecasting, Budgeting, Analysis and Reporting.
  • Proven experience developing and executing business strategies.
  • Proven experience coordinating resources, third parties-providers and auditors.
  • Must have advanced excel skills and knowledge.
  • Experience with Xero or similar software is advantageous.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Must be able to independently define and perform financial forecasting and reporting strategies and requirements.
  • Demonstrable experience in effectively navigating complex organizations.
  • Willingness to work in the early morning shift.
