Job Title: SAP BTP Architect (Solutioning) 

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic SAP BTP Architect to lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This pivotal role involves translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical architectures.

You will serve as the primary technical authority for all BTP solutioning, guiding development teams and collaborating with stakeholders to leverage the full potential of BTP. Your focus will be on designing "side-by-side" extensions for our SAP S/4HANA landscape, building new cloud-native applications, and integrating diverse systems to drive our digital transformation agenda.

Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the end-to-end solution design process for BTP initiatives, creating high-level architectural blueprints and detailed technical specifications.

Business Requirement Translation: Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to understand complex business problems and translate them into effective BTP solutions.

Technology & Service Selection: Evaluate and recommend the optimal mix of BTP services (e.g., Integration Suite, CAP, Datasphere, AI Core, SAP Build) to meet project requirements and long-term strategic goals.

"Clean Core" Strategy: Champion and enforce SAP's "clean core" principle by designing all extensions as side-by-side solutions on BTP, minimizing customization of the S/4HANA core.

Governance & Best Practices: Define and maintain architectural standards, development guidelines, and governance frameworks for all BTP development and integration.

Prototyping & PoCs: Lead the development of Proofs-of-Concept (PoCs) and prototypes to validate new architectures, technologies, and BTP services.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring: Provide technical guidance, oversight, and mentorship to development teams working on BTP projects, ensuring adherence to design and quality standards.

Integration Strategy: Design and oversee the implementation of complex integration scenarios using the SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration/CPI, API Management, Event Mesh) to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.

Strategic Roadmapping: Contribute to the overall SAP technology roadmap, identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement through the BTP portfolio.

Experience: 7+ years of experience in the SAP ecosystem, with at least 3-4 years in a dedicated architect or lead role focusing on SAP BTP (formerly SAP Cloud Platform).

S/4HANA Knowledge: Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA (Cloud or On-Premise) and the "side-by-side" extensibility model.

BTP Application Development: Proven, hands-on expertise with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) for building cloud-native applications.

Integration Expertise: Expert-level knowledge of the SAP Integration Suite, including hands-on experience designing and building iFlows in Cloud Integration (CPI) and managing APIs with API Management.

Database & Data Modeling: Strong experience with SAP HANA Cloud, including data modeling and performance optimization.

Security: In-depth knowledge of BTP security concepts, including Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), XSUAA, and principal propagation.

UI/UX: Proficiency with SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 development principles and the SAP Build Work Zone service.

Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education: Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• SAP Certifications: Professional-level certifications in SAP BTP Development, Integration, or Architecture.
• SAP Build: Hands-on experience with the low-code/no-code tools in SAP Build (Build Apps, Build Process Automation).
• Data & Analytics: Familiarity with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for data warehousing and visualization use cases.
• AI/ML: Experience or exposure to SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad for embedding artificial intelligence into business processes.
• ABAP: Knowledge of modern ABAP, including the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• DevOps: Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for BTP applications.
