Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Powder Coating Engineer located in Coimbatore. The Powder Coating Engineer will be responsible for managing powder coating processes, ensuring quality and efficiency, overseeing equipment maintenance, and executing production schedules. Additional tasks include adhering to safety protocols, troubleshooting coating defects, and collaborating with other departments to meet production goals.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and oversee daily dispatch operations to meet customer delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
  • Ensure proper documentation (invoice, packing list, delivery challan, e-way bills).
  • Monitor loading/unloading activities and verify material as per dispatch orders.
  • Track shipment status and provide updates to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and safety standards.
  • Maintain records of dispatched materials, returns, and discrepancies.
  • Work on process improvements to reduce turnaround time and optimize transport costs.
  • Handle customer queries regarding deliveries and resolve dispatch-related issues.
  • Ensure dispatch KPIs (on-time delivery, cost per dispatch, error rate) are achieved.
