Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering: Elicit requirements from stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, and underwriters.

2. Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.

3. System Analysis: Analyze insurance systems, including policy administration, claims, and billing.

4. Solution Design: Design solutions to meet business requirements, including process improvements and system enhancements.

5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions meet requirements. Test scenario creation and end to end thorough testing.

6. Implementation and Deployment: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and deploy solutions.

7. Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions meet business requirements

Must-Have Skills:

  • Mandatory experience in Life Insurance domain.
  • Hands-on experience with Life Asia
  • Experience of calculation logic, value testing, and Day 2 processes.
  • Experience in handling production issues.
  • Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, BRD/FRD, process mapping.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Tools and Technologies:

1. Insurance Systems: Policy administration systems, claims systems, billing systems, Life Asia system

2. Business Intelligence Tools: Tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.

3. Project Management Tools: Tools like Asana, Trello, or MS Project.

4. Requirements Management Tools : Tools like JIRA, Confluence, or IBM Rational.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background: Graduate/Post Graduate, MBA.

2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on developing Business Requirement Documents in the insurance industry. Background in lending (Loans) is valued.

3. Technical Skills: Proficient in business analysis tools (including MS Excel), understanding of APIs and their implementation. Familiarity with insurance-related systems is a plus.

4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

5. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹600, ₹950,000.00 per year
