Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Consultant Psychiatrist based in Chandigarh. The Consultant Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various mental health conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include formulating treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, prescribing medications, and offering expert guidance on psychiatric and mental health care. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and communication with patients and their families will be key to providing comprehensive mental health solutions.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Psychiatry and Psychiatric Care
- Experience in Mental Health and Adolescent Psychiatry
- Strong foundation in Medicine and its application in psychiatric treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- MD or equivalent qualification in Psychiatry
- Relevant licensure and certifications to practice psychiatry
- Experience in handling both inpatient and outpatient cases is preferred
