Job Title: Manager Data Scientist

Location: Hyderabad

Reports to: Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO)

Gender: Female (Only)

Grade/Level: Manager

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
  • Master's degree in a related discipline preferred.

Experience

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in Data Analytics / Data Science roles.
  • Preferred Industry: Agri Business or FMCG.

Job Purpose

To enable automation and real-time data-driven decision-making across business functions through advanced analytics, machine learning, and digital transformation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Strategy

  • Support the CIDO in building and executing the Data Science roadmap.
  • Identify and integrate emerging trends and best practices in data analytics.
  • Drive innovation in digital initiatives and data utilization.

2. Data Engineering

  • Design and manage technical processes for data optimization.
  • Oversee data ingestion, validation, transformation, and integration.
  • Develop policies for multi-source data collection and cleansing.
  • Ensure smooth execution of ETL processes and data pipelines.

3. Data Analytics & Insights

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements for analytics and dashboards.
  • Build predictive models, algorithms, and visualization dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Develop and deploy recommendation systems for automated decision-making.
  • Measure and improve analytics outcomes through continuous experimentation and A/B testing.

4. Talent & Self-Development

  • Stay updated with the latest developments in AI, ML, and Data Science.
  • Promote a learning culture and encourage capability development within the team.
