Senior Internal Auditor

Job Profile SummaryRole is based in Ahmedabad, India and required frequent travel to Muscat, Oman (most on quarterly basis). Plan and execute risk based internal audit and advisory engagements, maintaining quality of audit processes and documentation in accordance with International Standards (Institute of Internal Auditors). Finalise audit report to communicate audit findings and preserve audit work-papers documenting audit tests and findings pertaining to audits for record.
Review the effective implementation of organizational policies & procedures and continuously monitor the compliance in regional branches/depots. Verify compliance with state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Collaborate with business units to build an awareness of internal audit's value-added offerings and brand across the organization.
Assist CIA and Audit Committee in selected special reviews and other projects. Knowledge, Skills & Experience RequirementsProfessional qualification like Chartered Accountant (CA/ICWA/ACCA) or finalist. Preferred to have additional risk management certification (CIA or CISA or equivalent).
At least 3 years' experience in Internal Audit/Risk Management of Construction industry. Previous experience in GCC or especially in Oman is added advantage. Must have good communication skills (English) – both written and verbal.
Possess operational exposure of computer system- particularly Word, Excel, PPT.Preferred to have various ERP software (SAP) and Data analytics (Power BI) knowledge and experience. CTC offered is in the range of INR 10 to 12 Lacs pa.
