QA Engineer

1. Core Automation Expertise

Independently build automation frameworks from scratch.

Implement robust automation solutions aligned with Agile Scrum and other SDLC methodologies.

Strong understanding of automation concepts, test design principles, and best practices.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks such as JUnit or PyUnit .

Strong programming expertise in Java , including advanced APIs (Concurrency, NIO, Byte Buffers).

Ability to automate API, UI, and backend test scenarios.

2. Technical Skills & Tools

Proficient in relational databases, SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation techniques.

Ability to design automation solutions for database-centric and ETL applications.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across multiple layers of the application stack.

Familiarity with Eclipse, build tools, and version control systems.

Good scripting knowledge in Python or Shell (added advantage).

Experience with performance tools such as JMeter and exposure to load, scale, and reliability testing.

Ability to interpret and validate XML/JSON request/response structures.

Good understanding of backend architecture, system integrations, and middleware components.

3. Testing Knowledge & Quality Ownership

Minimum 2 years of experience in QA Automation

Experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, System, Smoke/Sanity, and Installation/Upgrade testing.

Develop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test scenarios.

Execute automated scripts alongside manual test cases where required.

Perform end-to-end validation of complex applications and act as the SME for assigned modules.

Define and execute system-level test plans across various environments.

Conduct endurance and stress testing to ensure system stability.

4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

Participate in technical discussions with engineering, product, and architecture teams.

Ensure complete test coverage through proactive involvement in requirement and design discussions.

Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, DevOps, and stakeholders to enhance product quality.

Provide actionable feedback to improve features, architecture, and performance.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Experience in various testing types, including Functional, Integration, Regression, System Testing, Installation/Upgrade testing, and Smoke/Sanity testing.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills at multiple levels of the software stack.

Hands-on experience with Selenium and solid understanding of test automation concepts.
