You'll assemble and lead various project teams; and monitor the teams' performance, and bring out the best in every team member. You're also in charge of creating the organisational structure, project objectives and working procedures for the teams. Your Cost management skills will also be of great value, as you set up clear project cost plans and allot sufficient budget to achieve optimal results and meet the company's target profits. Also part of your job is to attend project meetings as required, develop monthly reports and carry out contract administration. Furthermore, you'll oversee negotiations, analyses and promotions of quality control systems. Your task is to fully understand, collect and deliver clients' requirements. The CC team will depend on you to help schedule or plan establishment, value engineer, and design change management. You'll also assist the contract manager in all related procurement and VO management. On top of that, you'll support the Sr Cost managers/Cost Managers in all related installation, site inspection and contractor management, Prepare BOQ's, Quantity Survey & Quantity Take Off, Cost Analysis for each of the line items in the BOQ as required for project to project, Benchmarking, Review & Standardize of Specifications, Sound Technical Knowledge on Civil / MEP aspects as applicable, Procurement from Cost Management perspective, Finalise Commercials with vendors, Rate Contracts as applicable, Boosting client relationshipsHelping clients achieve success is what JLL does best—and your role is an extension of this tradition. If so, this is the perfect job for you, as you'll also represent and promote the company throughout the project. The Director - Cost Management is responsible for implementing administering and maintaining cost control systems and procedures to track budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts, and to assist in the preparation and review of cost estimates and schedules for projects of medium complexity and value;Promote JLL values at all timesAssist in preparation of business plans, targets and budgets for the services and reporting on achievementsIdentification and conversion of new business development opportunities to identify and target new clients, markets, services and projects and develop and manage target account plans.Ensure job profitability for projects assigned and Service unit.Proactively ensure client management on all occasionsEnsure high quality service delivery on all projects at all timesPromote recruitment and development of high value teamAssist in ensuring statutory compliancesCoordinate/assist with the strategic and operational management of Cost Management and Project Controls Services for various geographic locations in a variety of Property sectors, including technology, and/or pharma, and/or natural resources and/or commercial clients.Assist in the leadership of program and project level Management teams and manage staff levels on team to complete current and forecast project deliverablesParticipate in meetings with VP of Business Unit, Directors and staff and prepare and deliver presentations.Provide effective Line Management to subordinate professionals.
