Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking a highly competent and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong surgical proficiency, sound medical judgment, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of veterinary care. This role requires precision, responsibility, and the ability to manage complex medical and surgical cases with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
1. Surgical Operations
- Perform soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries with strict adherence to clinical and safety protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and ensure appropriate post-operative management.
- Oversee anesthesia administration, monitoring, and intervention when required.
- Ensure operating theatre standards, aseptic techniques, and surgical documentation are maintained at all times.
2. Clinical Examinations & Case Management
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and formulate accurate diagnostic and treatment plans.
- Interpret laboratory reports, radiographs, ultrasonography, and other diagnostic tools with precision.
- Manage emergency, trauma, and critical care cases with timely and appropriate intervention.
- Ensure continuity of care through consistent monitoring and follow-up.
3. Client Communication & Compliance
- Provide clear, factual, and professionally structured explanations to clients regarding diagnoses, treatment protocols, surgical outcomes, and prognosis.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure all client interactions reflect the hospital's professional standards.
- Educate clients on preventive healthcare, long-term management, and post-surgical care requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- MVSc from a recognized university; .
- Valid registration with the State Veterinary Council.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in small animal practice with proven surgical capability.
- Proficiency in emergency medicine, critical care, diagnostics, and case management.
- Strong analytical skills, decision-making ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a disciplined, patient-centric approach.
