Tata Motors Limited, Dharwad Plant is providing an opportunity to the students of different institutes for 'Internship' to learn and acquire skills while learning that are required to be performed in the actual work condition and gets accustomed to the working environment. The purpose of imparting On-The-Job training is based on the principle of 'Learning by doing'. As per the Department of Technical Education (DTEB), Internship Guidelines providing On-The-Job Training to the students who are pursuing their Diploma courses.

The on-the-job training is extended to the interested students for 2 to 6 months duration. The engagement is based on the medical examination done by our Company Medical Officer followed by Induction and Fundamental Skill Training prior to their deployment to the shop floor for on-the job training.

We are extending Personnel Protective Equipment (PPES), Transportation and Canteen facilities apart from the Stipend of Rs.8,000/- {Rupees Eight Thousand only) per month to the students during their stay with us.
