Role Overview
The Accounts Head will be responsible for overseeing the company's complete finance and

Key Responsibilities
- Accounting Operations & Financial Control
· Oversee and ensure accuracy of daily accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and

· Regularly review interest rates and ensure they are revised in line with RBI rate
reductions and current market trends.
· Maintain a real-time understanding of the company's total loan exposure, interest
obligations, and repayment schedules.
· Ensure no penalties, late fees, or charges are levied; if any occur, address and get
them reversed immediately.
· Handle all documentation, legal papers, and collateral submissions required for new
or ongoing bank processes.
· Oversee KYC updates and bank compliance submissions in a timely manner.
· Coordinate with banks for credit renewals, loan restructuring, and closure
formalities as needed.
- Compliance, Audit & Statutory Requirements
· Ensure accurate and timely compliance with all statutory filings including GST, TDS,
TCS, PF, ESI, and professional tax.
· Guide the team to prepare and review returns and reconciliations.
· Coordinate with external auditors for periodic and annual audits, ensuring all required

· Maintain and monitor IT (Income Tax) compliance — including filing, correspondence,
and maintenance of IT records.
· Handle ROC (Registrar of Companies) filings and ensure all corporate documentation

· Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting in line with business goals.

· Conduct ROI and feasibility analysis for new projects, expansions, and capital
investments.
· Maintain cash flow planning, ensuring liquidity and efficient fund utilization.
· Provide management reports, MIS summaries, and financial dashboards for
decision-making.
· Review insurance policies and investment portfolios to ensure adequate coverage
and maximum returns.
- Insurance, Investments & Asset Coverage
· Oversee and renew all company insurance policies (vehicles, assets, employees, and
fire/business continuity coverage).
· Review insurance adequacy annually and manage claims efficiently.

management.
- IT, Systems & Digital Record Maintenance
· Maintain and monitor accounting system access controls and data security.

audit, and compliance documents.
· Ensure all IT compliance (software licensing, accounting data protection, and audit
trails) is adhered to.
- Leadership, Mentorship & Team Development
· Supervise a team of 3-5 accounting and finance executives, delegating responsibilities
effectively while maintaining oversight.
· Train and mentor team members to work independently and take ownership of their
functions.
· Build the next level of leadership within the finance team by encouraging learning,
accountability, and initiative.
· Set measurable goals, review performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Coordination & Business Partnership
· Liaise with banks, auditors, consultants, and internal departments for smooth
coordination of financial processes.
· Partner with Operations, HR, and Procurement teams to streamline cost control and
process efficiency.
