Electrical CADD Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Electrical CADD Engineer to support our design, drafting, and documentation activities in electrical and low-voltage projects. The role involves preparing detailed 2D drawings, layouts, and schematics for ELV systems, PA systems, Surveillance, Data & Electrical wiring projects as part of our system integration business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare 2D drawings, electrical layouts, single line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics using AutoCAD.
  • Design and draft layouts for ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, PA System, Fire Alarm, Data Networking, etc.).
  • Develop as-built drawings, shop drawings, and installation layouts for projects.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with the project team, engineers, and site supervisors for accurate implementation.
  • Update revisions in drawings as per client/consultant feedback.
  • Maintain proper documentation of design files, versions, and drawing logs.
  • Assist project engineers in BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and material take-offs.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Electrical/ELV CAD drafting.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of electrical layouts, load schedules, and ELV systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
