Indian Tandoor CDP

Job Overview:

We are looking for skilled and passionate Indian Tandoor CDP/DCDP/Commis I to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in preparing a variety of tandoor items such as naan, roti, kebabs, and other traditional Indian breads and dishes, while maintaining consistent quality and authentic flavors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook tandoor dishes (breads, kebabs, curries, etc.) according to standardized recipes.
• Must have good experience in making naan, roti, paratha, kulcha, and other Indian breads.
• Assist in menu planning, food costing, and daily mise en place.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients to maintain freshness and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tandoor section and kitchen area.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Train and guide junior staff when required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Indian Tandoor section.
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and traditional tandoor techniques.
• Skilled in preparing a wide range of tandoori breads and items.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
