We are looking for a software engineer to join a small, but insanely fun team in Mumbai that is dedicated to ensure that every single woman in India has instant, quality and uplifting gynaecological care - on her own terms.

Pinky Promise is a digital clinic where a women can connect with a Gynaecologist, describe her issue, get a prescription in mins and stay connected till she feels better - for just 99RS. We have build a medical AI system that works alongside the Doctor to make this all possible. In two years we have become the most downloaded women's health app in the country and helped 300,000+ women in India (largely from Tier2/3 cities). In the next year we will impact the lives of 1M women. 

Location: Mumbai, In Office

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

What you will do in the next 18 months:

  1. Scale up our platform to serve 1 Million users without a glitch.

  2. Build a first-of-its-kind medical AI that is designed specifically for women's healthcare.

3. Work across products and technologies, including backend microservices and customer facing apps on web and mobile.

  1. Design and build key features of the product to fundamentally change how women access reproductive healthcare and take care of themselves.

  2. Work closely with the founding team, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge AI solutions that will transform women's healthcare.

Who Are You:

You are someone who is comfortable working across different technologies, is excited about learning new things everyday, and is ready to change the status quo for women's healthcare.

  1. Proficiency in any one programming language such as Python, (Javascript) Nodejs, Java, Rust, or Go.

  2. Experience with designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express, etc.

  3. Experience in web and/or mobile app development with languages/frameworks such as Kotlin, Swift, React Native, Flutter, Vue, React

  4. Understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and proficiency in writing efficient queries.

  5. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and experience with related services and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

5.Completely self driven. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Education / Experience:

Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields with 2+ years experience OR 5-8 years experience in a core dev role.
