Performance Engineer / Tester
Responsible for designing, executing and analyzing non functional and performance tests to ensure scalability, reliability and efficiency of a TCP based middleware solution for a high throughput transaction processing switch
- Profound understanding of payment software non functional testing methodologies
- Design and execute performance and failover tests to evaluate scalability and reliability of the solution
- Identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvement
- Analyze test results and generate detailed performance reports.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases/data based on requirements
- Ensure thorough coverage of non functional requirements
- Execute manual and automated tests cases
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry standard tools for automation testing
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving software quality
- Work closely with PO, developers etc and other key stakeholders to ensure high quality deliverables
- Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation
- Minimum 7 years of experience in performance testing with a focus on payment software
- Technical skills: Paragon simulator or equivalent, JMeter or equivalent, Gremlin or equivalent, Linux, HP NSK a plus
