English News Writer

Job Description:
Way2News is looking for passionate and driven English Content Writers to join our editorial team. As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for curating and creating engaging short-form news content in English with a strong focus on current affairs and regional relevance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and edit clear, concise, and engaging news content in English.
- Curate trending topics and present news in a simplified and summarized format.
- Work closely with editorial leads to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Adapt to shift-based roles, including night shifts.
- Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and style guidelines.
- Stay updated with regional and national current affairs, especially in the Telugu-speaking regions.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 2 to 6 years of experience in content writing, journalism, or related roles.
- Strong command over written English and news writing.
- Good understanding of Telugu regional issues and geo-politics.
- Smart, enthusiastic, and self-driven individuals.
- Willingness to work in rotational and night shifts.
- Preference will be given to Telugu native male candidates.
