Job Description:

Way2News is looking for passionate and driven English Content Writers to join our editorial team. As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for curating and creating engaging short-form news content in English with a strong focus on current affairs and regional relevance.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and edit clear, concise, and engaging news content in English.
  • Curate trending topics and present news in a simplified and summarized format.
  • Work closely with editorial leads to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Adapt to shift-based roles, including night shifts.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and style guidelines.
  • Stay updated with regional and national current affairs, especially in the Telugu-speaking regions.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in content writing, journalism, or related roles.
  • Strong command over written English and news writing.
  • Good understanding of Telugu regional issues and geo-politics.
  • Smart, enthusiastic, and self-driven individuals.
  • Willingness to work in rotational and night shifts.
  • Preference will be given to Telugu native male candidates.
