Role & responsibilities

  • To execute the production planning formulated in the shift as per the job cards.
  • Tool box talk to all labors before initiation of shift.
  • To prepare shift reports.
  • To ensure no liquid drums are charged on sigma platform.
  • To ensure all sheeting activity is carried out on sigma platform.
  • To ensure all labors use air line respirator on sigma and drum charging.
  • To coordinate with Material movement executive and arrange for material to be cut.
  • To give clearance to operator before initiation of any new activity / process.
  • To ensure all the work is carried out in line with the SOP formulated.
  • To ensure all the safety guidelines and work practices are followed.
  • To impart training to the operators and labors working in the respective departments.
  • To ensure right quality of material is produced and ensuring no quality deviations in production.
  • To carry out housekeeping and elimination any unsafe conditions on sigma / tank farm areas.
  • To ensure no unloading of sigma batches are done in open and any cleaning activity to be carried out after all necessary permit clearance.
