A Treasury Manager oversees cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk management to ensure the organization's stability. They manage investments, optimize fund utilization, handle banking relationships, and oversee debt and capital strategies. Ensuring regulatory compliance, financial forecasting, and budgeting, they play a crucial role in maintaining financial efficiency and sustainability.

Experience

6-7 years' experience, should having the good knowledge in the banking space with any NBFC of similar one

Salary

Up to 10 Lac

Responsibilities

Borrowing

  • Handling borrowing from banks / FIs / International Agencies using various products - viz term loans and working capital finance

  • Explore new lenders to maintain adequate funding pipeline

  • Handling securitization (PTC) with banks / non-bank counterparties

  • Handling DA to optimize utilization of capital / as a capital accretive tool.

  • Be able to handle credit calls with credit teams of banks and rating agencies

  • Understanding ALM and adhere to prudential limits

  • Should be able to bring down the overall cost of funds of the company.

  • Any other duties assigned as may be required

Relationship

  • Be the face of the organization for the banks / FIS / International Agencies

  • Should be able to handle communication beyond product / instruments

  • Actively manage relationships by continuous interaction with assigned lenders

  • Arrange leadership team meetings, with top management, Mandatory to cover all major banks and desirable to cover FIS / International Agencies, where possible

  • Maintain relationships with rating agencies to ensure smooth information flow

Tracking Market pulse /Regulatory changes

  • Actively keep a tab on all macro events. Should be able to understand and present to the management on impacts of various macro events

  • Keep the management abreast of all relevant regulatory changes and do impact analysis on the borrowing costs

Data Analysis

Strong understanding and practical knowledge of using Excel for data analysis and preparation of CAM, Information Memorandums and explanatory notes for submission of information with the lenders

Strong hands on experience on Microsoft Office tools(Word, Power point and Excel )

Role Interactions:

Being a senior role in fundraising, the incumbent is expected to demonstrate a reasonable level of communication skills, while communicating with various stakeholders, including but not limited to ones given below:

External

  • All market participants including banks, arrangers and FIS.

  • Rating Agencies, Trustees etc.

Internal

  • MD, CFO, CRO and CCO

  • Lead Treasury Mid Office and Treasury Back Office and their staff

  • Other senior management/leadership teams

Qualifications

MBA Finance /
CA / CMA

  • In-depth knowledge of financial markets and market conditions, financial products and relevant regulation

  • Basic knowledge of financial accounting practices and Ind - AS

  • Should be able to adapt to uncertainty and be able to handle pressure

  • Should be very high on ethics and adhere to the highest standards of corporate governance
