Job description

Role & responsibilities

System Administration and Performance Monitoring: Maintain and enhance the performance and reliability of the ServiceNow platform to 99.9% uptime level.

Workflow Development and Integration Support: Configure and customize the platform to meet specific business workflows and integrate seamlessly with other systems to improve overall operational efficiency.

User Support and Training: Provide support and training to end-users to ensure high user satisfaction and effective platform utilization.

Requirements Gathering and Documentation Management: Ensure system integrity and compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives in administrative processes.

Auditing, Compliance, and Service Improvement: Relates to ensuring the integrity and compliance of the system, along with continuous improvement efforts fundamental to administrative roles.

CMDB Maintenance: Manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to accurately track the state of IT assets and services, ensuring all records are updated.

Operational Activities and Incident Management: Support migrations, manage incidents, and maintain rapid response times, with a performance goal of resolving incidents within 2 hours.

Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in business meetings to gather requirements and provide updates, ensuring alignment with business objectives and serving as the point of contact for ServiceNow-related inquiries.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator, including at least 1 year in development and administration.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management, and Asset Management.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; experience in building custom applications, automation workflows, business rules, and notifications.
  • Familiarity with web service integrations (REST/SOAP), LDAP, and SSO configurations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITSM framework (ITIL).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on driving efficiency and platform manageability.
  • 8-10 years of overall IT experience, with a solid understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes.
  • ServiceNow certification (Certified System Administrator - SNOW) is a plus.
