We are hiring MFES Admin for a Product Based MNC
Location : Remote
Micro Focus Enterprise Server (MFES) Administrator
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Micro Focus Enterprise Server (version 9 or above) on Linux platforms.
- Manage and monitor MFES regions, instances, and related components.
- Perform deployments, migrations, and upgrades of MFES environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MFES runtime, configuration, and connectivity issues.
- Manage Enterprise Server configuration files, licenses, and user access.
- Integrate MFES with Enterprise Developer, DB2, and other enterprise systems.
- Monitor performance and optimize MFES environments for reliability and throughput.
- Maintain system documentation, environment inventories, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and change implementations.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience administering Micro Focus Enterprise Server (v9 or above).
- Strong proficiency with Linux administration (RHEL, SUSE, or equivalent).
- Experience with COBOL application environments, CICS, JCL, and batch processing under MFES.
- Knowledge of networking, file systems, and security permissions in Linux.
- Familiarity with Micro Focus licensing, region setup, and enterprise deployment management.
- Experience integrating MFES with relational databases (e.g., DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).
- Shell scripting and automation experience (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Ability to analyze logs, dumps, and MFES diagnostic outputs for issue resolution.
