Sr. Engineer

Job Description :

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to oversee production & Maintenance operations at our Plant.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Operations

2. Plan and monitor daily production activities to meet targets (volume, quality, cost, timelines).

3. Ensure adherence to SOPs, GMP, and hygiene standards.
4. Track KPIs such as OEE, yield, and downtime.

5. Collaborate with quality, planning, and logistics teams.

6. Maintenance & Asset Management

7. Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment/utilities.

8. Ensure smooth functioning of key machines (filling lines, CIP, pasteurizers).
9. Conduct RCA and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.

10. Maintain documentation on equipment performance and history.

11. TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)

12. Lead TPM implementation and audits.

13. Drive improvement projects to reduce losses and improve reliability.

14. Facilitate autonomous maintenance through cross-functional teams.

15. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement

16. Apply Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM) to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

17. Lead productivity and cost-saving initiatives.

18. Promote a continuous improvement culture.

19. Safety, Compliance & Training

20. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental norms.

21. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
22. Train and mentor junior engineers and operators.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of production and maintenance systems.
• Exposure to TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and safety compliance.
• Good leadership and problem-solving skills.
