Requirements
About the Role
We are looking for a SDET with Billing System Experience who is passionate about quality engineering and test automation. In this role, you will design and implement robust test frameworks, lead test automation strategies, and ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. You will play a critical role in ensuring product quality through end-to-end testing of both frontend and backend components, including web UI and RESTful APIs.

*Key Responsibilities*
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for UI, REST APIs, and data pipelines across platforms like Databricks, ADF, and Snowflake.

Perform data validation at all stages—input datasets, transformation logic, model features, predictions, and outputs—ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Develop test automation scripts in Python for validating data workflows and machine learning model outputs.

Conduct API testing using tools such as Advanced REST Client, Postman, or similar, and troubleshoot using browser console and developer tools.

Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and data engineers to ensure model testability, reproducibility, and alignment with business goals.

Define comprehensive software testing strategies, including functional, performance, regression, and security testing.

Identify and maintain a robust suite of test cases to fully validate code functionality and performance.

Evaluate and adapt test automation tools to support evolving project needs and optimize testing efforts.

Conduct threat analysis and prioritize vulnerabilities, providing remediation guidance and validating the effectiveness of applied fixes.

Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices.

Perform regression testing during deployment cycles to ensure system stability and backward compatibility.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of best practices in quality engineering.

*What You Bring
Experience:*
3+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Automation Engineer with Billing System Experience, or related role.

Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, driving best practices in test automation and quality assurance

Telecom Industry Experience Is Highly Preferred.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

Experience with unit testing and test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.

Solid experience with REST API testing using Postman and RestAssured.

Automated Testing with Python (PyTest) – Build and maintain scalable test suites for APIs, data pipelines, and ML models to ensure reliability and CI/CD integration.

Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling, or similar).

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).

Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.

ISTQB or equivalent QA certification (a plus but not required)

Soft Skills:
Experience on Billing System

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Ability to break down complex technical topics for business stakeholders

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment with shifting priorities

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Master's degree or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Proven track record of delivering data science projects from ideation to production.

Strong communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories with data.

Comfortable with both structured and unstructured data sets.
