This position is the core technical position of product development. With continuous growth of combining theory with practice, you will be involved in program development, tool development, algorithm application, and other fields of Caterpillar products. In the process of close collaboration with Caterpillar's engineers, you will gain a deeper understanding of the process of Caterpillar's new products development and Caterpillar's enterprise culture.

The major responsibilities will be included but not limited to the items as below:
  • Conduct secondary development of simulation software to improve efficiency of existing simulation process;
  • Participate in the development of in-house simulation tools;
  • Participate in the research and application of relevant algorithms;
  • Assist senior engineers in completing company innovation projects.
Qualification Required: Academic background:
  • Min. Master in Computer Science, Automation, Automotive Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or equivalent.
Competency Requirement
  • Familiar with at least one programming language, such as Python, C , etc
    PythonC
  • Familiar with data structures and algorithms
  • Proficient in writing GUI programs is a priority
    GUI
  • Proficient use of mathematical function libraries is a priority
  • Priority given to being able to independently complete projects of a certain scale
  • Familiar with AI related algorithms is preferred
    AI
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
