We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in manual and automation testing, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality applications. This role requires attention to detail, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Review business and technical requirements, create detailed test plans and test cases.
Perform manual testing (functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT).
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit.
Conduct API testing using Postman/RestAssured.
Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
Perform performance and load testing using JMeter (preferred).
Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA/ALM or similar tools.
Work closely with developers and product teams to identify root causes and ensure timely resolutions.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies – sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives.
Collaborate with DevOps team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, test metrics, and reporting.
Technical Skills: Manual & Automation Testing | Selenium WebDriver | TestNG/JUnit | API Testing (Postman/RestAssured) | SQL | JIRA/ALM | CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, Maven) | JMeter (Performance Testing) | Agile/Scrum Methodology.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks.
Good understanding of Agile/DevOps practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
Analytical mindset with strong debugging and troubleshooting ability.
