Location - Chennai

Work mode- Work From Office

System Management and Maintenance

Architect and Deploy: Design, install, configure, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure Linux servers (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) in physical, virtual, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and availability, performing tuning and making recommendations for hardware and software improvements to ensure optimal efficiency.

Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex, advanced system issues related to operating systems, servers, and applications, often serving as the escalation point for junior administrators.

Updates and Patching: Regularly manage and implement system updates, patches, and upgrades to operating systems and applications, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance.

Security and Reliability

Security Implementation: Design and enforce security policies and best practices, including configuring firewalls (like iptables), intrusion detection systems, and managing user access, permissions, and auditing.

Data Integrity: Implement and maintain robust backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery plans.

Compliance: Ensure the infrastructure adheres to relevant IT policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI compliance).

Automation and Infrastructure Design

Automation/Scripting: Develop, maintain, and enhance scripts (Bash, Python, Perl) and use configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) to automate routine tasks, standardize configurations, and streamline deployments.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Lead efforts to transition operations to an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) model, designing and deploying infrastructure solutions.

Project Leadership: Lead and execute infrastructure projects, such as system migrations, new technology integrations, and major system upgrades.
