Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing web and software applications to ensure product quality and reliability. This role is ideal for freshers or early-career professionals eager to grow in the field of software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
  • Perform regression, functional, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with developers and project managers to understand system requirements and resolve issues.
  • Ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to creating and maintaining test documentation and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Knowledge of manual testing techniques and test case design.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps).
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred / Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
  • Understanding of API testing and database testing (SQL basics).
  • Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
