Role & responsibilities

  • Work with multiple stakeholders (business, marketing and product teams) to understand requirements, challenges and opportunities of existing systems
  • Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity
  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis
  • Integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing insights
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patternsin complex data sets and Work with multiple stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities, Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor or masters degree in engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field with 2-6 years of hands-on experience
  • Experience of interpreting large and complex data sets using relational/Non-relational databases with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Technical expertise regarding data analysis, and customer insight Experience with visualization/ reporting tools like Tableau, MetaBase is a plus
  • In depth knowledge of Linux to process large data sets
  • Proficient at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Ability to communicate results with the leadership teams in a structured and coherent manner Desired Skills and Experience: SQL and Python, Hive and Mongo DB (good to have)
