Overview: The Software Engineer & Lead Engineer-Autosar BSW plays a crucial role in developing and implementing Autosar Basic Software, driving the overall technical approach, and leading a team to achieve project deliverables. This position is essential as it involves overseeing the creation of robust and efficient software for embedded systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of Autosar Basic Software (BSW) modules and components.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and software architecture.
  • Design, develop, and debug software in C/C++ for embedded systems.
  • Ensure adherence to Autosar standards and guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in Autosar BSW development.
  • Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to optimize software performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with the validation team to conduct module and system-level testing.
  • Support the integration of Autosar BSW modules into target hardware platforms.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks in the Autosar BSW.
  • Participate in the documentation and maintenance of software design artifacts and technical specifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in Autosar BSW technology.
  • Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives for software development processes and tools.
  • Communicate project status, technical challenges, and solutions to stakeholders and management.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking in addressing complex technical issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Autosar Basic Software development and integration.
  • Expertise in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Autosar architecture, methodologies, and toolchains.
  • Prior experience in leading a team of engineers in software development projects.
  • Deep understanding of embedded software development processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in software configuration management tools and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills for complex software systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements for automotive software development.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools is a plus.
  • Certifications in Autosar or related technologies is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
  • Adaptability to evolving project requirements and multitasking in a dynamic work environment.
