Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and highly technical AI Engineer with 13 years of experience to join our Mumbai team. This role is focused on designing and building advanced Generative AI (GenAI) and LLM-powered products. You will work hands-on with state-of-the-art technologies like OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face, LLaMA, RAG, and Vector Search Engines to solve real-world challenges at scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Product Development

  • Develop and integrate LLM-based and GenAI applications (OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face Transformers, LLaMA, etc.).
  • Implement advanced architectures using RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), semantic chunking, and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, ChromaDB).

2. Prompt Engineering & Model Orchestration

  • Design, test, and optimize prompts for chatbots, summarization, content extraction, and semantic search.
  • Use tools like LangChain and LlamaIndex to orchestrate complex AI workflows.

3. Real-Time Systems & AI Pipelines

  • Build intelligent data pipelines and real-time anomaly detection systems.
  • Work on multi-modal AI applications (text, images, tabular data).

4. Agentic AI & Reasoning Systems

  • Contribute to developing Agentic AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and autonomous tool usage.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Learning

  • Partner with data engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver scalable AI solutions.
  • Stay up to date with AI research trends and apply them to production systems.

6. Performance & Scale

  • Optimize system performance for large-scale deployments.
  • Implement token management, API optimization, and error-handling strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of hands-on experience in Python with AI/ML/NLP-based projects.
  • Experience with Typescript applications.
  • Practical exposure to LLMs & GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face, LLaMA, Cohere, etc.).
  • Understanding of embeddings, tokenization, and prompt engineering.
  • Familiarity with vector search engines and concepts like RAG, semantic chunking, or knowledge graphs.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with a passion for real-world AI applications.

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Experience in deploying AI APIs into production environments.
  • Knowledge of Git, REST APIs, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Interest in Agentic AI experiments and research.
