Job Title: Production Head – Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Department: Production / Operations

Location: Nangli, Near Najafgarh / Dwarka

Reports To: Managing Director / Operations Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production Head to oversee the complete manufacturing operations of commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, refrigerators, fryers, cooking ranges, cold rooms, and other stainless-steel fabricated products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and a proven track record in managing end-to-end production—from planning and material procurement to assembly, testing, and dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Execution

  • Plan, organize, and control the production schedule to meet delivery timelines.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
  • Coordinate with Design, Procurement, and Sales teams for smooth workflow.

2. Manufacturing Operations

  • Oversee fabrication, assembly, welding, polishing, and final finishing of stainless-steel kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure proper functioning of CNC, laser cutting, bending, and other machinery.
  • Supervise installation, wiring, and testing of electrical & refrigeration components.

3. Quality Assurance

  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures at all stages of production.
  • Ensure all products meet safety and performance standards.
  • Conduct final inspections before dispatch.

4. Team Management

  • Lead and manage a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and technical training.
  • Promote teamwork and maintain discipline on the shop floor.

5. Cost & Inventory Control

  • Monitor production costs, wastage, and downtime to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the purchase department for timely availability of raw materials.
  • Maintain records of materials consumption and inventory levels.

6. Process Improvement & Maintenance

  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance of all production machinery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity enhancement.

7. Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce factory safety rules and ensure compliance with statutory norms.
  • Maintain a clean and organized production environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in production management, preferably in commercial kitchen equipment / refrigeration / fabrication industry.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, TIG/MIG welding, assembly, and testing.
  • Understanding of electrical and refrigeration systems used in kitchen equipment.
  • Proficiency in production planning, manpower management, and ERP tools.

Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹ 60,000 per month (based on experience and capability)
