 Role Overview

Our Animal Health IT team is seeking a motivated and results-driven SAP BW/HANA Developer to join the AHIT EPM Global Business Solution team, with a focus on Finance Analytics Solutions & Insights. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP BW and HANA development and be familiar with modern cloud and data platforms such as SAP Datasphere and Databricks. This role involves building and optimizing analytical solutions that support decision-making across key finance domains, including AtR, OTC, FP&A, and STS. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs and translate them into scalable solutions. This role involves close cooperation with stakeholders across MAH, Global Business Service Centers, Global Finance, Architecture & Delivery, Regional IT, and Local Finance organizations to support digital transformation in Analytics.

What will you do in this role

• Develop and optimize SAP HANA models and BW data flows to support Financial Analytics and Reporting.
• Contribute to data modeling, performance improvements, and solution maintenance across SAP BW and HANA.
• Support development in related platforms such as SAP Datasphere and Databricks as part of the Analytics Landscape.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in testing to ensure solutions align with finance requirements.
• Help enable sustainable reporting capabilities for actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to leverage data across the financial value chain.
• Share insights and promote adoption of delivered solutions.
• Work in a collaborative, networked team environment to share best practices.

What should you have

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW and SAP HANA development.
• Familiarity with SAP Datasphere and Databricks.
• Experience delivering Analytics or Reporting Solutions, ideally in a finance context.
• Understanding of data modeling, performance tuning, and process optimization.
• Ability to work on cross-functional and global teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with good organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with compliance, security, and best practices specific to highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceutical).
