Job Description

  • Familiar with Allen Bradly/Siemens/Mitsubishi/Delta make PLC logic understanding, logic modification, online communication & troubleshooting.

  • Familiar with Allen Bradly/ Schneider / Gefran/ Mitsubishi VFD program understanding & troubleshooting.​

  • Familiar with Allen Bradly/ Mitsubishi servo drive. 

  •  Familiar with Ethernet/ Control net/ Sercos/ Device net/ RS232 communication.

  • Familiar with relay logic & electrical drawing understanding.

  • Familiar with all types of Instruments i.e. Pressure transmitter, flow transmitter, RTD, Thermocouple, Temperature transmitter, Level transmitter, level switch, temperature switch, O2 analyzer, I/p converter, LVDT, pressure switch, pressure gauge, proxy sensors.

  • Familiar with Wonderware SCADA system 

  •  Familiar with fire alarm system, smoke detectors, UV sensors, MCPs, fire hydrant system & sprinkler system will be additional advantage

  • Awareness of Preventive, Predictive (Thermography ) and Breakdown Maintenance of all critical equipment

  • Awareness of  periodic  maintenance  of critical  safety  devices of all equipment

  • Awareness of plant engineering performance matrix- Uptime, MTBF, MTTR 

  •  Identifying the root cause of major breakdowns by conducting Why-Why analysis

  • Responsible for kaizen implementation on machines

  • Responsible  for preparation and up gradation of PM checklists

  • Preparation of yearly PM schedule

  • Awareness of machine spares management

  • Procurement/ repairs of machine spares

  • Preparation of yearly spares budget of machines and adherence to budget

  • Responsible for cost saving through frugal engineering and localization of maintenance spares

  • Awareness and Responsible for calibration of instruments

  • Awareness of mixing process

  • Worked with automatic packaging/  flow wrap

  • Worked on liquid filling machines/ capping/labelling machines

  • Able to manage external contractors for getting the job done 

  • Implementation of department related project 

  • Responsible for Energy saving initiatives and implementing energy saving projects.

  • Awareness of safety standards- LOTO system, Machine guarding, permit systems ( Height, Hot, Confined space, pipe line etc.)

  • Maintenance and sustenance  Integrated management system-   ISO 9001 ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 systems 

  • Responsible  for  implementing OSHAS  guide lines

  • Responsible for  developing  a team of  Diploma Technical Associates
