Key Responsibilities

  • Well versed with AIS/IS standards and experience in homologation testing for 2/3/4 wheelers
  • Handle complete homologation process for certification of vehicles, including testing and validation
  • Coordinating with testing agencies to ensure timely approvals for product launches
  • Work closely with R&D, design, and production teams to address homologation requirements early in the product development cycle
  • Conduct detailed analysis of homologation data, resolving any issues or discrepancies related to vehicle performance, safety, and compliance
  • Stay updated on new and evolving regulations and standards across different global markets, ensuring timely adoption of changes
  • Provide technical expertise during audits and inspections by regulatory authorities

Ideal Candidate

  • Overall 2 to 4 years of experience as Homologation Engineer
  • Strong understanding of AIS/IS standards specific to vehicles
  • Familiar with the audit process for compliance testing
  • Prepare and review documentation for regulatory submissions
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external regulatory bodies
  • Ability for strong project management to ensure timely completion
  • Adaptability and teamwork skills to work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
