Delivery Lead

Role & responsibilities:
- Lead and manage delivery of multiple IT projects within the insurance domain(Life, General, or Health Insurance).
- Ensure alignment of project outcomes with business and technology
- objectives.
- Drive delivery excellence through effective planning, resource management, and governance.
- Manage stakeholder communication across business, IT, and vendor teams.
- Oversee end-to-end SDLC and Agile delivery processes, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, and implement
- mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, testing,
- infrastructure, and operations.
- Drive automation, AI adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives across delivery functions.
- Manage team performance, mentoring project managers and technical leads to enhance delivery capability.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources and adherence to financial targets(budget, cost control, forecasting).
- Support pre-sales, RFP responses, and client presentations as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12-18 years of overall IT experience with at least 68 years in project or
- delivery management.
- Strong domain expertise in Insurance (Life, General, or Health) familiarity with policy admin systems, claims, underwriting, and digital insurance platforms preferred.
- Proven experience in managing large, multi-location delivery programs and distributed teams.
- Excellent understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies; SAFe Agile certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience with IT governance, audit, and compliance processes in a
- regulated environment.
- Prior experience working with global teams or captive IT centers is an
- advantage.
