Reports To: Chief Financial Officer / Managing Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to manage the organization's financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and proven experience in managing audits, taxation, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and finalize financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Manage budgeting, cash flow, and forecasting activities to support business goals.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly MIS reports and provide insights for management decision-making.
  • Implement and monitor effective financial controls, systems, and processes.
  • Conduct cost analysis, variance analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Support senior management in strategic financial planning and business expansion decisions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
  • 3 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation, audit, and financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, and statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, SAP, or QuickBooks.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in a corporate, manufacturing, or multi-branch setup.
  • Familiarity with ROC compliances and company law matters.
  • Ability to lead a small finance and accounts team independently.
