Purpose of the job:

To identifying, evaluating, and securing suppliers for shirt materials, production, and related services

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and evaluating potential shirt suppliers based on factors like cost, quality, lead times, and capacity.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key shirt suppliers, ensuring timely communication and collaboration.
  • Negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Implementing and maintaining quality control measures throughout the sourcing process, from material sourcing to final garment inspection.
  • Analyzing costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and optimizing sourcing processes to achieve cost competitiveness.
  • Managing lead times for fabric, trims, and production, ensuring timely delivery to meet production deadlines.
  • Ensuring efficient logistics for raw materials and finished garments, including transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance.
  • Communicating effectively with internal teams (e.g., merchandising, design, production) and external suppliers.
  • Continuously seeking ways to improve sourcing processes, identify new technologies, and optimize the overall supply chain.

Desired Qualification:

Any graduate / Engineer/MBA , Good knowledge on excel/power point( VBA will be added advantage but not mandatory),

Desired Experience Profile:

5-8 years of experience preferably in apparel / fashion retail, Previous experience in MIS preferred, Go getter attitude, Should have good interpersonal skills, Should have good written and verbal communication skills
