Echocardiography Technician, also known as an Echocardiographer,

• Responsibilities:
• Performing echocardiograms: This includes transthoracic (external) and transesophageal (internal) echocardiograms.

• Operating and maintaining equipment: Using ultrasound machines and ensuring their proper functioning.
• Analyzing and interpreting images: Identifying cardiac structures and abnormalities.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams: Working with physicians and other specialists to develop patient care plans.
• Maintaining records: Accurately documenting procedures and patient information.
• Staying updated: Continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field.
