Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java JEE Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Java applications using the Java EE platform. You will be responsible for contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, and deployment.

You will also mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions. Responsibilities : Design and Development :

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Java EE applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Implement complex business logic and algorithms.
  • Develop RESTful and SOAP web services.
  • Utilize design patterns and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.

Database Management :

  • Design and implement database schemas.
  • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Optimize database performance.
  • Work with ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).

JEE Technologies :

  • Proficient in core Java and Java EE technologies (Servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS, JTA).
  • Experience with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere).
  • Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Spring, CDI).

Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) :

  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Use version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Write unit and integration tests.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Mentorship and Collaboration :

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.

Performance and Security :

  • Optimize application performance and scalability.
  • Implement security best practices.
  • Understand and implement application security measures such as Authentication and Authorization.

Cloud Technologies :

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Required Skills and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Java EE development.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Proficient in Java, Java EE, and related technologies.
  • Experience with web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
  • Experience with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Spring, CDI).
  • Experience with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
