About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Payments & Cash Management IT team at BNP Paribas, Chennai. The role involves building a next-gen reporting platform (PFMX) using cutting-edge technologies like Java, Spring, Angular, Kubernetes, Cloud, Docker, and integrating solutions for global banking clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications.
  • Build APIs, manage databases, and ensure security & data protection standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance.
  • Contribute to integration testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Work in Agile teams to deliver client-centric payment and reporting solutions.

Must-Have Skills

5–7 years of Backend Development experience (Java, Spring/Apache frameworks).

Strong in SQL, Hibernate HQL and database design.

Frontend skills: Angular(added advantage), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, XML.

Knowledge of Payments & Cash Management domain (camt.052, 053, 054, MT9xx formats).

Experience with Docker, UNIX, Kubernetes, Cloud environments.

Security practices: HTTPS, SSL, Vault integration.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Knowledge of XSLT templates.
  • Exposure to BDD & Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
