Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFront and other AWS services
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or similar tools
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiency
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and scaling requirements
  • Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud architecture and processes
  • Participate in on-call rotation for production support when needed

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong understanding of core AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting language
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers)
  • Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, or EKS)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect Associate, SysOps Administrator, or Developer Associate)
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELK stack)
  • Experience with serverless architecture and DevOps practices
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet)
