Job Title: CAD & PLM Engineer
Location: Pune
Payroll Company: Randstad India Pvt. Ltd, Third party payroll.
: To support BOM in PLM activities.

Mission

To support and act as an active team member of the BOM in PLM team. You should have very high affinity towards Inventor Professional 2020 and Enovia 21x.

Roles & Responsibilities
  1. BOM creation in PLM. (Items, parts lists, non-CAD objects etc.)
  2. Metadata corrections/update in PLM.
  3. CAD enrichment (3D modelling, assembly, i-assemblies)
  4. 3D and BOM comparison.
  5. CAD try-outs in Inventor.
  6. Change management in Enovia.
  7. Variant management in Enovia.
  8. Communicate with overseas teams on a regular basis.
  9. Maintain planning and status sheets.
  10. Estimate the amount of effort required for a task.
  11. Attend meetings with cross functional teams.
  12. Record learnings and help to create training documents.
Educational Requirements/Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3-5 years of experience.
  • Should have basic knowledge of Air Compressors and designing of compressor Package.
  • Should have a basic understanding of the modularity approach.
  • Experience of working on CAD software like Inventor & PLM system 3Dx-Enovia etc.
  • Knowledge of BOM generation, working on ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of Ms office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Good written & verbal communication in English is a must.

  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Good interpersonal skills including self-starter and positive approach.
  • Should be customer-focused.
  • Should be a team player with a learning attitude.
  • Capable of working under time pressure to respect deadlines.
  • Strong technical acumen and application knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • You are very much result-oriented and like to get things done with minimal supervision.
