Job Title: Social Science (SST) Teacher

Location: Central Academy School, Barmer, Rajasthan

Classes: 3rd to 8th

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Science lessons for classes 3 to 8.
• Teach subjects including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as per the prescribed curriculum.
• Create an interactive and stimulating classroom environment to encourage critical thinking and curiosity.
• Design and conduct assessments, assignments, and projects to evaluate students' understanding.
• Maintain student records, track academic performance, and provide feedback to parents when required.
• Incorporate innovative teaching techniques and technology-based learning tools.
• Organize activities, debates, and quizzes to make SST learning more practical and interesting.
• Participate in school events, meetings, workshops, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.Ed.) or Master's Degree (M.A./M.Ed.) in History, Geography, Political Science, or related disciplines.
• Teaching Certification: B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred (freshers with strong subject knowledge can also apply).
• Strong command over English and Hindi.
• Good classroom management skills and ability to engage students effectively.
• Proficiency in using smart boards, online tools, and digital resources for teaching will be an added advantage.
