Role: Senior Integration Engineer

Exp: 8+ years

Mandatory Skills: VmWare ESXi, Scripting, Protocol Experience in needed.

  1. Virtualization Infrastructure Design & Deployment

  2. Architect and implement VMware ESXi clusters (or equivalent) according to capacity and HA requirements.

  3. Configure resource pools, vMotion, DRS rules, and storage policies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  4. Azure Cloud Provisioning & Management

  5. Deploy and manage Azure VMs, VNets, storage accounts, and identity services using ARM templates or Terraform.

  6. Implement hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute/VPN) and enforce network security groups and access controls.

  7. MES & DCS Systems Integration

  8. Collaborate with process engineers to integrate and configure MES and DCS platforms for seamless data flow.

  9. Validate data mapping, workflows, and OPC/Modbus interfaces between control systems and enterprise applications.

  10. Industrial Protocol Configuration

  11. Set up and maintain OPC DA/UA servers and clients, ensuring correct endpoint security and certificates.

  12. Configure Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, and Fieldbus networks, and troubleshoot protocol-level errors.

  13. Automation & Scripting

  14. Develop and maintain PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripts to automate VM provisioning, patching, and health checks.

  15. Integrate scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) for consistent infrastructure deployments.

  16. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  17. Implement monitoring for virtual and cloud resources using tools like vRealize, Azure Monitor, or Grafana.

  18. Analyze performance metrics daily, identify bottlenecks, and apply tuning recommendations for CPU, memory, and I/O.

  19. Incident Detection & Resolution

  20. Provide firstlevel troubleshooting for virtualization, cloud, and automation issues during standard support hours.

  21. Log detailed incident records in the ticketing system, conduct rootcause analysis, and apply permanent fixes.

  22. Standard Operating Procedures & Documentation

  23. Create and maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and SOPs covering virtualization, cloud, and industrial systems.

  24. Update documentation after each change to ensure accuracy and facilitate knowledge transfer.

  25. Backup & Disaster Recovery Planning

  26. Design and test backup strategies for VMs, Azure resources, and critical control system configurations.

  27. Document DR procedures and conduct periodic recovery drills to verify RPO/RTO targets.

  28. CrossFunctional Collaboration & Handover

  29. Engage with IT security, network, and OT teams to align on change windows and compliance requirements.

  30. Provide clear handover notes for any ongoing tasks or escalations at the end of each shift or project milestone.
