Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Scala Developer located in the Greater Chennai Area. The Scala Developer will be responsible for requirements analysis, developing high-quality Scala code, performing unit tests, and ensuring code quality. Additionally, responsibilities include system troubleshooting, maintenance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Scala programming and functional programming paradigms
  • Experience with system design and architecture
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
  • Familiarity with concurrent programming and asynchronous programming model
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with database technologies like SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
