Associate Vice President

Strategic & Planning:

• Develop and implement the long-term project roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for new projects.
• Prepare and manage capital expenditure budgets and forecasts.

Project Execution & Management:

• Lead the execution of greenfield, brownfield, and expansion projects including smelter, refinery, acid plants, and utilities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Manage contracts, vendors, and consultants for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC).

Stakeholder & Team Management:

• Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Maintenance, Safety, Finance) and external stakeholders.
• Build and lead a high-performing project team with clear roles and accountability.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and board-level stakeholders.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all projects comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Drive sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives within project scope.

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgical / Chemical Engineering.
(Master's degree or PMP certification is an added advantage.)

Experience:

• Minimum 20 years of experience in project management within heavy industries.
• At least 10 years in leadership roles managing large-scale industrial projects.
• Prior experience in non-ferrous metallurgy or copper smelting/refining is highly desirable.
