Position Overview:

A SEO (Search Engine Optimization) executive plays a crucial role in enhancing a website's visibility on search engines like Google. The aim is to attract more organic (non-paid) traffic from search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo.

Job responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities and trends.
• Create and maintain a long-term roadmap for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO improvements.
• Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve website visibility and organic traffic.
• Collaborate with content teams to optimize website pages, blog posts, and other digital assets for search engines.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to SEO best practices and content quality guidelines.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as site speed, crawl errors, and mobile usability.
• Work with developers to implement SEO-friendly website architecture and improve site performance.
• Monitor and optimize the site's indexability, sitemaps, and
• Develop and implement a robust backlink acquisition strategy.
• Build relationships with industry influencers, blogs, and publications for guest posting and collaborations.
• Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics, including traffic, rankings, and conversions using tools including but not limited to GA4, GSC, and SEMrush.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, marketing, design, and development, to achieve goals

Required skills, experiences and qualifications :

• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SEO purposes, is an added advantage
• Good knowledge of SEO tools such as GA4, Google Search Console (GSC), SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and SEO ranking factors.
• Certification in Google Analytics or other relevant certifications, agency experience is a plus.
• Experience of US university/Market is an added advantage
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• 2-4 years experience preferred
