Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Retail Pharmacist located in Amritsar. The Retail Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications to customers, ensuring the accuracy of prescriptions, and providing pharmaceutical advice. Day-to-day tasks include managing inventory, processing orders, educating pet parents about medications, advising on pet health and wellness, and adhering to legal and ethical guidelines in the pharmacy practice. The Retail Pharmacist will also collaborate with veterinary professionals to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Pharmacology, Dosage Administration, and Drug Interaction
- Experience in Inventory Management and Order Processing
- Ability to provide pharmaceutical advice and customer education on medications and pet health
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining ethical and legal standards
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
- Licensure as a pharmacist and registration with the relevant pharmacy council
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy or veterinary setting is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
